Cancellation Policy
Wilkerson Notary Services Policy Title: Rejected Ink Fingerprints Policy Applies To: All mobile ink fingerprinting clients Purpose To outline procedures for handling rejected fingerprint cards and ensure quality service while supporting clients through the resubmission process. Policy Statement Wilkerson Notary Services aims to provide high-quality ink fingerprinting. However, the final acceptance of prints is determined by the requesting agency. This policy explains what happens when fingerprint cards are rejected and how clients may request a reprint. Definitions Rejected Fingerprint Card: A card returned as unusable due to smudging, incomplete prints, low ridge detail, or other quality issues. Reprint: A second fingerprinting session to correct a rejected card. Client Responsibilities Clients are responsible for submitting their fingerprint cards unless arranged otherwise. Clients must notify Wilkerson Notary Services of any rejection and provide documentation (e.g., rejection letter or agency notice). Rejected prints must be from services originally provided by Wilkerson Notary Services. Complimentary Reprint One free reprint is available within 30 calendar days of the original appointment with valid proof of rejection. The reprint will be scheduled as soon as possible. Agency feedback must be provided to help improve reprint results. When Reprints Are Not Free A reprint will not be complimentary if: The original card is lost or damaged after leaving our possession. The 30-day window has passed. No proof of rejection is provided. The rejection is due to skin conditions (e.g., worn ridges, dryness) despite proper techniques being used. Reprint Fee If not eligible for a free reprint, our standard fingerprinting fee will apply, plus any mobile service fees. Limitations & Disclaimer Wilkerson Notary Services does not guarantee that fingerprint cards will be accepted by any agency. Some individuals may be advised to seek alternative verification methods if prints are consistently rejected. Client Acknowledgment By scheduling an appointment, you agree to this policy and understand: A single free reprint is allowed within 30 days with proper documentation. Reprints outside that window or without documentation will incur a fee. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the requesting agency.
