A valid Florida marriage license must be obtained prior to the ceremony

Marriage License Filing & Delivery
Following the ceremony, the signed marriage license must be returned to the Clerk of Court that issued it. Couples may return the license themselves. If choosing this option, you will sign acknowledging responsibility for delivering the license within the required time frame.For an additional filing fee, Wilkerson Notary Services can return the license on your behalf using tracked delivery for documentation and peace of mind.Ceremony fees and filing services are separate.
