Terms and Conditions

Wilkerson Notary Services, LLC

1. General Terms

By scheduling or utilizing services provided by Wilkerson Notary Services, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all services, including mobile notary services, remote online notarization (RON), apostille courier services, loan signings, and fingerprinting.

2. Fees and Payments

  • All fees are payable in advance at the time of scheduling, whether by online booking, phone, or invoice.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required: $40 for regular services, and $45 for Remote Online Notarizations.

  • Full payment must be completed prior to service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Payments not received in advance may result in cancellation.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations made after payment will be refunded at 50% of the total fee, except for the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made within two (2) hours of the scheduled appointment time are not eligible for any refund.

  • If we are in transit or arrive at the location and the notarization or service cannot be completed for any reason, no refunds will be issued.

  • If any signer fails to provide proper identification or does not pass ID verification, no refund will be issued.

4. Identification Requirements

  • All signers must present valid, government-issued, unexpired photo identification.

  • Acceptable forms of ID include state driver’s license, state-issued ID card, passport, or military ID.

  • Failure to produce acceptable identification will prevent completion of the notarization and will result in forfeiture of payment.

5. Scope of Services

  • Our notaries verify identity, witness signatures, and complete notarial certificates as required by Florida Statutes Chapter 117.

  • We do not provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or determine the legal effect of documents. Please consult an attorney for legal guidance.

  • For apostille and authentication services, Wilkerson Notary Services, LLC acts solely as a courier/facilitator. We are not responsible for processing times, delays, or rejections by the Florida Department of State, U.S. Department of State, or any embassy/consulate.

6. Mobile and Remote Services

  • Mobile notary fees include travel within designated service areas. Additional mileage or after-hours surcharges may apply.

  • Remote Online Notarization (RON) requires reliable internet access, a webcam, and the ability to upload and sign documents electronically. Client is responsible for meeting technical requirements.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must review all documents for accuracy prior to notarization.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure documents are complete and ready for notarization.

  • Wilkerson Notary Services, LLC is not responsible for errors, omissions, or the legal validity of documents.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all documents and personal information obtained during services.

  • Information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with your express consent.

9. Waiting Policy

  • Our notaries will wait a maximum of 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time.

  • If the signer(s) or required parties are not present, prepared, or ready to proceed within that time, the appointment will be considered a no-show.

  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows, and a new appointment must be scheduled with a new payment.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Wilkerson Notary Services, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in question.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Leon County, Florida.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling or receiving services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
